Iheanacho now highest-paid Nigerian in Premier League

Manchester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, is now the highest-earning Nigerian player in the Premier League, after agreeing a £85,000-per-week deal with the club.Iheanacho

Iheanacho signed a new two-year contract extension to stay at the Etihad until 2021.

He admitted his new deal will change the lives of his family.

Iheanacho’s new agents negotiated this bumper deal, even though they are still locked in an ownership tussle with the player’s former representatives.

The 19-year-old now earns more than Super Eagles captain, Mikel John Obi, who picks up £70,000 a week at Chelsea. Victor Moses is paid £50,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
