Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), says he is alive and getting better, reports, The Cable online newspaper.
The Shi’ites leader made this known during his first public appearance in over two years.
El-Zakzaky, who is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), spoke with journalistson Saturday in Abuja.
“I am getting better, thanks to all your prayers,” he told journalists.
El-Zakzaky was arrested in December 2015 after the Shi’ites and the Nigerian army clashed in Zaria, Kaduna Stat
