Lagos – Professor Tunde Adeniran, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and former Minister of Education on Thursday disclosed that some members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) were working with the party.
The ADC is a political party adopted by the Coalition of Nigerian Movement (CNM), the coalition founded by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, with the sole aim of ousting President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Speaking with INDEPENDENT, Adeniran also said the SDP, which is currently referred to as the Third Force would soon become the main force after defeating both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“The SDP is the main force. People call us the Third Force now but by the grace of God, we are becoming the main force because we are overtaking both the PDP and APC.
“Some of the members of ADC are part of us and any political party that believes in changing the existing system of national insecurity, hunger and every other negative thing that Nigerians are going through is free to work with us,” he said.
