Father Of Two Commits Sucide Over Economic Recession

Bamidele Fashube, Abuja, Nigeria, GVE – A father of two children from the South South, Nigeria has committed suicide following increasing hardship in the nation.

The deceased, Late Chief Ekanem Edet reportedly wrote a suicide note to Nigeria’s President, Mohammed Buhari, as he was assumed to have died out of frustration.

According to reports, the 50 years old former Secretary of the Mbiabong Village Council, popularly called ‘Jolly Boy’, had been dead several hours before his lifeless body was discovered.

Residents of the community situated in Itu Local Government of Akwa Ibom State have been in the state of mourning ever since.

No official statement has been revealed so far from the appropriate authorities.
