Former senate leader Ali Ndume has fallen into troubled waters with his colleagues, and has been suspended for one year.
The suspension takes immediate effect and will last for 181 days.
This puts him in the same shoes as former Appropriations committee chairman, Abdumumini Jibrin who was also suspended when he accused the lawmakers of padding the 2016 budget.
