|..Says it is like dubbing Satan a demon

Having taken part in the nationwide massive protests that shook the Nation and made the Federal Government to proscribe the dreaded Special Anti Robbery Squad-SARS, an Igbo group, Voice from the East, VEAST ,has vehemently faulted the change of the name of SARS to SWAT – Special Weapons And Tactics, describing it as satan changing his name to demon.
According to the group, what made Nigerians rise against SARS is the lawless, extrajudicial and outlandish killings which is punishable by death in line with Nigerian Constitution.
The group stated that what the people expected was a Federal Government announcement that SARS members, who are incidentally known across the police units in Nigeria who are not in the hiding, should be summoned to Abuja and charged to court, tried and the law allowed to have its course, as a clear deterrent to other blood thirsty police personnel .
The Convener of the group-Comrade Kindness Jonah , while addressing the press said “ SARS to SWAT is old wine in new bottle. SARS was quoted to imply – Satanic Agents Re-appearing Steadily, which was why they were killing, reappearing and killing and reappearing and killing … ad infinitum. Now the same satan has changed name to demon in SWAT which could be implied to mean — Satan Withdrawn And Transferred. So, SARS equals – Satanic Agents Re-appearing Steadily, and SWAT equals- Satan Withdrawn And Transferred. So, what is the difference then ? So Inspector General of Police of Nigeria has simply transferred satan to another location in the formation of SWAT to exchange with SARS.”Comrade Jonah recalled that “insecurity by bokoharamic killings has defied solution in Nigeria because the very bokoharam members are given money and re-integrated into the society by the confusionist policy of DE-RADICALIZATION” .”Nigerians”, the group said, “Never Expected Power Always in NEPA, while Problem Changed Name in PHCN, yet, this government that promised heaven and earth in 2015, has ended up being prismatically better in 2020 . Nigeria gravely needs Jesus intervention, because this is not what we expected by voting Buhari to power in 2015. I am not in PDP. I am not in any party. I am simply a human rights activist . ’’Comrade3 Jonah declared ReplyReply allForward
