There was chaos at the Federal High Court in Abuja this morning after Justice Binta Nyako stormed out of the court premises following the refusal of embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu to be tried in secret.
According to reports, Kanu who is on trial for treasonable offences heatedly refused an application by the Federal government stating that the witnesses to testify against him should be protected from the public eye.
The insistence of the IPOB leader reportedly caused commotion in the court prompting the presiding judge to exit the court abruptly.
Recall in January 20, 2016 Kanu was slammed with treasonable charges and other offences bordering on his agitation for the secession of the Republic of Biafra from Nigeria.
