Buhari, Others Stoned At APC Rally In Ogun State

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS (GVE) – The All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ogun State almost ended in violence after some angry residents threw stones at President Muhammadu Buhari and other top members of the party.
Global Village Extra gathered that problem started when Ibikunle Amosun, the incumbent governor asked APC members in the state to vote for him in the National Assembly polls, but that they should vote for another for the governorship race.
Immediately after this, former governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, rose to attack him, saying they all belonged to the same party and that everyone should be in one accord.
The angry residents, consequently, picked up stones and hauled them at the governor and the President, by extension.
Immediately, the security operatives attached to the presidency surrounded the President to prevent him from being hit by any of the stones the angry Ogun indigenes were hauling in his direction.
